Release Notes - InpaintKit v1.2.1
Bug Fixes: Seedream 4 & 4.5: Fixed minimum image size requirement
- Fixed API error image size must be at least 3686400 pixels when using smaller selections
- Both Seedream workflows now properly validate and upscale images to meet the API's minimum total pixel requirement (~1920×1920 equivalent)
- Changed rounding from Math.round to Math.ceil to prevent edge cases where images were just under the minimum threshold
Seedream 4 & 4.5: Fixed reference image size handling
- Reference images below 1024px are now automatically upscaled to meet the API's minimum dimension requirement
- Previously, small reference images (e.g., 750×750) would cause API failures
Technical Details:
- Added MIN_PIXELS = 3686400 constant for total pixel validation
- Added verification step after dimension calculation to ensure minimum pixel count is met
- Reference images are now upscaled when either dimension is below 1024px

How We Ship
- Ship small, continuous updates that feel as quick as a keyboard shortcut.
- Verify changes against real client files from our own studio before release.
- Keep you in control: non‑destructive layers, predictable results, and transparent model choices.
We built InpaintKit for our own daily use at Turned Ninja. If a change doesn't make us faster in Photoshop, it doesn't ship.
